Nhava Sheva or Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is in Navi Mumbai. Nhava Sheva has the largest container port in the country. JNPT is well connected by road and rail to the hinterland. Mumbai Port, Maharashtra

Mumbai Port Trust is also called Bombay port trust. The port handles 10% of the freight-handling and 19% of India total POL. It has a separate terminal for marine oil and has two terminals. Some of the main exports from Mumbai Port are motor vehicles, steel, oil, and coal. 

Vishakapatnam Port, Andhra Pradesh

Vishakapatnam Port was built in 1933. The port is in South India and is one of the most important ports in the region. The port is divided into three harbors the outer, inner, and the fishing harbor. The main exports from the port are iron ore, engineering, liquid cargo, etc.

Chennai Port, Tamil Nadu

Cochin Port, Kerala

Kolkata Port, West Bengal

Tuticorin Port, Tamil Nadu

Ennore Port, Tamil Nadu
